Contract definitions
1. Prices
2. Payment
Payment can be made by credit card or cheque, prior to the desptach of the goods.
3. Ownership and risk
A. Ownership and title to the goods will not pass to the Buyer until payment in full has been received.
B. On delivery, the goods must be signed for by an authorised representative of the Buyer, and at that point the risk in the goods passes to the Buyer.
4. Claims
A. Any claims regarding defects or shortages of the goods supplied, must be lodged with the Seller within three days of delivery.
B. Claims will only be accepted for the goods supplied, and not for any subsequent consequential loss.
5. Returns
If you are not happy with the goods supplied and they are not suitable for their intended purpose, then provided the Seller is notified within 3 days of delivery, and the goods are returned within 14 days of delivery, a full refund for the value of the goods will be given. This excludes carriage costs. The goods must be returned unused and undamaged, together with all packaging.
6. Measuring
Goods will be manufactured to the measurements supplied by the Buyer. Made to measure curtains will be manufactured to a tolderance of +/- 15mm.
7. Delivery
A. Delivery will be made to the Buyer's premises or to a nominated consignee address, within the mainland of the United Kingdom.
B. Delivery will be made in 7-10 working days, unless notified in writing to the Buyer by the Seller.
C. No liability will be accepted for any consequential loss due to delays in delivery.
8. Manufacture
Whilst every effort will be made to maintain the colours depicted in the illustrations, colours may vary due to the manufacturing process.
The Seller reserves the right to change or improve the specifications of the goods advertised without notice.
9. Governing Law
Orders and Contracts shall be governed and interpretated by the English Law.
10. Force Majeure
The Seller shall not be iable for failure to comply with any terms of this contract, if compliance has been delayed, hindered or prevented by any cause whatsoever beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to: war, riot, strike or lockout, act of God, storm, fire, earthquake, explosion, flood, confiscation, action of any government agency or shortage of goods.
